The California Women’s Leadership Association has named Renee a Finalist in it’s annual Women to Watch Awards. The organization annually recognizes women leaders, innovators and pioneers.
For the second year in a row, Renee was selected to Best Lawyers in America for 2019. Best Lawyers is a peer-review guide to the legal profession which identifies attorneys highly respected by other attorneys.
Renee presented on July 11 and August 2 for the California Lawyers Association Solo & Small Firm Section. Her topics were Cross Examination and Closing Argument, respectively.
Renee was asked to present for the August lunch meeting of the Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo. She presented on Issues of Ethics and Admissibility for Electronic Evidence.
The San Diego Business Journal recognized Renee as a Finalist for it’s San Diego’s Next Top Business Leader Under 40 (she just barely squeaked through at 39!) This program was designed to recognize businesses and leaders who positively impact the San Diego County business community.
Renee was honored to return to her alma mater as the 2018 Spring Commencement Speaker. Renee, herself, was a 2008 graduate of the San-Diego based law school, from which she graduated magna cum laude. Renee had also previously served as the Commencement Speaker for the 2017 Winter class.
The CWL Annual Conference features inspirational speakers and multiple panels of top lawyers and judges addressing timely issues, for participatory MCLE credits. The 2018 theme was “Inspiration, Achievement and Recognition: Rise.” Renee participated on a panel on “Building Your Professional Brand Online.”
Renee was asked to present at a fundraising event for the Contra Costa County Bar Association, Women’s Section. She presented on “Moving Your Practice Forward: Communication Skills for the Modern Lawyer”
Stackhouse, APC* was recognized by the U-T as a Reader’s Favorite for Personal Injury Law.
