Renee completes service on CWL Board

California Women Lawyers held its 2019 Annual Conference and Dinner in Sacramento on September 20, 2019. It was Renee’s last event with CWL while serving as a board member. Renee presented on a panel at the Conference, speaking on her experience from mid-law to solo practitioner on diversity initiatives and the experiences women face in the legal profession.
In the evening, Renee led the Silent Auction, the CWL Foundation’s primary fundraiser for the year and presented Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye with the 2019 Rose Bird Memorial Award.
Renee has served on the CWL Board since 2013, and has served as Legislative Chair, Social Media Chair, Awards Co-Chair, Treasurer, First Vice President, President-Elect, President and Past President. She created the national award-winning program “Elect to Run” encouraging women to run for office.
Since 1974, CWL has represented the interests of more than 70,000 women in all facets of the legal profession, influencing lawyers, educators, students and judges. CWL has consistently provided a high level of support and commitment to their individual career goals, and to the collective goals of women in law and society.
